You may return your product for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of the purchase date

How to Start: Email sales@techtough.com to request an RMA # and return instructions
Returns without an RMA or not following instructions may be refused
 

Refund Method

  • Refunds issued via PayPal and/or Stripe (original method when possible) after receipt
     

Return Shipping (Within 30 Days)

  • USA & Canada: Free UPS return label emailed

  • All Other Locations (International/Hawaii/Alaska/Overseas): Buyer pays return shipping (use your label or ours for $195 USD)
     

Customs/Taxes

  • Buyer responsible for all customs, duties, tariffs, brokerage fees, and taxes from couriers/governments

     

1 Year Warranty Coverage (Panasonic Hardware)
 

Covers original hardware defects on the original Panasonic hardware. Exceptions
 

  1. Battery & AC Adapter: 60 days
    Batteries are consumables and are covered for 60 days
    AC adapters are also covered for 60 days because they may be damaged by power surges, brownouts, and similar issues
     

  2. SSD/Drive (Third-Party Upgrade): 1 year
    The drive is covered for 1 year Drive warranty replacement is handled by the buyer directly with the original drive manufacturer (buyer ships the drive to the manufacturer for replacement)

     

Software/OS
 

  • Not covered: OS failures, drive images, software setup, viruses, programs, files, or content

  • Windows reinstallations due to drive failure: Not covered; contact our USA/Canada service agent for a quote

     

Shipping for Warranty Service & Repairs
 

USA & Canada

  • Under 30 Days (Refund/Exchange): Free UPS label

  • After 30 Days (Under Warranty): Buyer pays $95 for UPS label to depot; we cover shipping back to you after repair
     

All Other Locations (International/Hawaii/Alaska/Overseas)

  • Buyer pays shipping both ways, even under warranty

  • Optional return label to depot: $195 USD
     

Out-of-Warranty Repairs

  • Buyer pays shipping both ways

  • Possible $149 diagnostic fee if issue unclear/not covered (non-refundable); we notify you before charging

  • Optional one-way labels (per label): $95 USD (USA/Canada) or $195 USD (all other locations)

     

Warranty Exclusions
 

This warranty does not cover:

  • OS/software issues, SSD/drive images, viruses, or data loss (we recommend backing up your data before shipping)

  • BIOS settings, passwords, or changes

  • Cosmetic or physical damage

  • Damage from alteration, accident, misuse, liquid/foreign matter intrusion, abuse, neglect, improper maintenance/modification, or use not in accordance with product instructions

  • Acts of God
     

Limitations of Liability: TechTough is not liable for loss of data or other incidental or consequential damages resulting from use of this product or arising from any breach of this warranty. All express and implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the applicable warranty period stated above.
