YOU MUST KNOW YOUR "MARK OR MK MODEL" BEFORE ORDERING
 
The first generation of CF-54 is considered the MK1 or Mark 1, next was the MK2 and so on... The difference is in the internal hardware (CF-54 models look almost identical) gets better which each newer generation. This is important because of the hardware changes, each MK model requires different drivers to work properly.
 
To find out your Toughbook CF-54 MK Mark FULL model, you can look at the label on the bottom of your CF-54 or in thie BIOS: Hit [F2] on initial boot to see it. The first character that follows CF-54_ determines your MK model. For example: It will look like this CF-54GVMCB. The first letter after CF-54 is "G". So based on this chart below, this would be a Mark3 / MK3 model.
